Why?

A Writer’s Apprenticeship is a documentation of, and conversation about, the challenges and joys of learning to be a writer, and hopefully, one day, a published author.

The Apprenticeship is for learning, and along the way I want to discuss writing, reading, and being published. I will write about people who help and inspire me, ideas and questions that confuse me, as well as difficulties and triumphs in my writing.

I have already attempted one novel, which has taught me how much there is to learn, and I will be attempting to write another, as well as plenty of short stories, poems, and other… things I suppose.

Colloaboration is the loyal friend of creativity, so if you are an apprentice, new or experienced, of creative writing, then please join me, and make this path one that none of us have to journey alone.

One response to “Why?

  1. I’m starting the journey as well, and so happy to “meet” you. I’ve discovered that the qualifications for being a writer are both immense and nonexistent, so you are well-suited to the job. Best of luck, and I look forward to reading more of you!
